♥ Nick Vujicic 4th - 5th november !
Nick Vujicic service, was truly a blast, an inspiration, and more than that, it's the amazing works of God.
I will never regret coming for the service, cause I'm really blessed to hear him and see him, and somemore hugged him ! If you've missed it, then it's just a pity because it was just so good!
It is just amazing how a person without limbs, can speak with such great faith and confidence, even more than a person with limbs. His torso is not just any ordinary body part, or weak if you think so. There's just so much vigour and energy in that block itself that he can swim, play soccer, golf, ride a horse, hop, type, play piano and guitar. He is living beyond his abilities, and living in God's abilities, and he had so much joy in his life.
I just feel that God wants to tell us that , if Nick without limbs is unafraid, able to do so many things, there are even more that we, people who have limbs can do, as long as we do not depend on our might, but rely on His strength.
By right, he could have choose to be emo, low-esteem, and have no hope of the future, but he found Jesus Christ in his life, and his life is filled with even more colours and exciting and purposeful than many in this world.
So what do you seek when you feel empty ?
Seek relaxation in alcohol to fill your empty feelings ?
Or resort to buying things ? Looking for fulfillment through friendship ?
Get yourself busy with alot things in life ?
How long can you constantly keep yourself busy with - 24 hrs in 7 days ?
Or can clubbing, drink alcohol, sex really help you find happiness, to remove your pains ?
If you put your happiness in temporary things,
then your happiness will only be temporary!
How long can you be busy really ? How many things can you buy? How far can alcohol bring your pains away ?Your pain will still show and magnify, perhaps one late night when you're alone in your bedroom. Eventually, everything of this world will come to an end, and everyone will die.
So upon your death, you ask yourself - All my life, what have i done ? And you realised nothing.
These thoughts came upon me, and I realised how silly I was once before.
Just a note : DEATH doesn't mean everything is over, there's more to come after that yeah.
so how ? The Solution : JESUS CHRIST
why escape ? There is no denial, true happiness can only be found in the truth, that is in Jesus Christ (:Don't say you can't when you haven't even try it.
