♥ 2 Corinthians 12:9
For the past few days, I've been seeing & hearing this from God, "It is in the weakest that you'll find me the most."
2 Corinthians 12:9
"And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."
Matthew 9:12-13
"...He said, "Healthy people don't need a doctor - sick people do." Then He added, "Now go and learn the meaning of this Scripture: 'I want you to show mercy not offer sacrifices.' For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners."
Reading Cast of Characters - Common people in the hands of the uncommon God by Max Lucado, it's really an insightful study of different characters in the Bible, and how we are just like them.
And the story about Matthew spoke to me. Though in the Bible, it's only a few verses or passages long, but through the words of Max Lucado, it really helped to open my eyes so much more.
I'm so inspired to read, study & know the word of God so much more. In not just one dimension, but just like Pastors & Mae-ann, dimensions.
More than just doing well in school, being successful, what God really cared more was our hearts. The condition of our hearts. He came for the "sick" people.
I really love God for just who He is. He doesn't care about how rich or how poor we are. He doesn't really care about whether we are top in class. But He just loves us so.
Though Matthew was a tax collector, Jesus didn't despise him, and He even asked him to follow Him and ate with him on the same table with the other tax collectors.
God really taught me not to despise, not to judge others.
Sometimes, it is just so hard to believe in someone. Not to maximise weakness, but maximise their strengths, it's going to be so different! More water crystals birth forth! Boomz!
It always have to start with someone, isn't? Why not me? :)
I believe I believe I believe. Faith faith faith.
This challenge will stand in the test of time, yes it will. I believe in you! You will when you believe. I see it happening. I see you as something so much greater. I see you fulfilling your dreams. I see you answering the higher calls from God. I see you with a happy life. I see you with a happy family. I see you with great peace & joy in your heart. I see you becoming a leader.
Today, I learnt this from someone. And I'm really so happy for this someone. Unless you decide that you want to help yourself, if not even the greatest help offered to you from God will be of little use.
Because we know, God never force us. He loves us. He gave us freedom.
